Behind The Scenes

WHY I WANT TO BLOG

Since I haven’t been very diligent in maintaining and focusing on my blog, I’m taking the approach of “Why I Want to Blog,” versus “Why I Blog.”

So, here it is … I want to share, learn and grow my creative expressions. My passion is digital photography with an artistic flair … and writing. I have stories, memories and life experiences that I would love to journal and share. And, oh my, I have a lot of loves … my love of nature, wildlife, my family of rescued pets, antiques, vintage finds, art, retro 60s and 70s clothes and accessories and so much more; all of which I enjoy photographing and tweaking with PSE and other creative programs.

If I was forced to pick what I am most passionate about, with a strong desire to make a difference, it would be the neglect and abuse of animals. I have a special place in my heart, and I believe connection, with all animals. Looking into their beautiful eyes makes my heart melt. My pets are the loves of my life and some of my favorite subjects to photograph.

I feel that if I start blogging my desires, posting my photographs, my digital art, writing, sharing my interests … passions, it will get the creative juices flowing and who knows where it might lead (hopefully, to much joy and greatness … peace) … and many a-ha moments. Maybe even an art business. Oh, wow, now that would be cool. Getting started and remaining constant remain the challenges.

I know that some of my happiest moments are lived when I’m creating, I have such a deep appreciation and admiration for artists and creative minds. Thinking that I could fall into that family would delight me to the ends of the earth.

In summary, I believe blogging is a journey… for we never know where the journey will lead us, but one must start the journey to find out where it may take us. There’s no better time than now to begin that journey.

  2. Hi Susan
I so agree with you about happy moments and creating, I can lose myself in what I'm doing in my own little world with the BBC on the radio. And certainly blogging is certainly a journey, good to meet you on BTS with Kim and Xanthe see you on the road.
